As I had finished my degree, I opted to take a few courses that I deemed important in my career life. I considered Music, History and Philosophy. These are courses that are full of fun. Unlike the technical courses, they require manageable input to achieve comprehension and are comfortable to handle since they are free of calculations
As a perfect human culture product, music is known to be a superb art form. Musicologists’ argument is that music varies s varied from culture to culture. However, some music products that are international especially the English ones have made it to various communities.
The common feature with these courses is the fact that they are based and derived from our environment. Music, Philosophy and History are in our nature. All of these courses are guided with intrinsic mechanisms that are always present. Take for example History which is based on the environment where every happening are based.
In a way, all the three courses are similar owing to the fact that human beings are biological organisms. This means that the consequent creation of the mind is bound to be biological. Simultaneously, Music, History and Philosophy were not based on a single happening. Like music, it is dated many years ago. The same applies to history and philosophy. People have enjoyed music since time immemorial. The oldest fossil showing the evident of a continuous recording dates back 30, 000 years ago (D’Errico et al., 2003). Simultaneously, history has been there since the world’s creation as well as philosophy. Actually, the most famous quotes are those made by ancient philosophers.
Coincidentally, these three fields are encouraged by the society and all those people who have excelled in them have always been recognised. They seem to transcend from time to time. There are newer modifications in these fields. For example, there are emergent music firms that were inexistence. Country music and pop are older forms of music while trance, house and dance music are emergent. Apparently, there are more contributions to history and philosophy too. This is evident from the findings that are made in the present world and also new philosophers coming up and making their contributions.
In order to stand out in these professions, you ought to be proficient hence call for practice. This means that one should be well acquainted to the job requirements. For example, for you to come up with good historical results, you need to carry out a well-planned and implemented research. Philosophy also requires an up to date person who doesn’t go through the guess route. It requires a socially active and upright person who will be able to interpret the present world’ issues and come with viable conclusions.
Sometimes it is hard to define these subjects well. This is because they all oscillate around the human social life and the environment. This also means that they derive much of their contents from the environment. This has altered my perception to various issues since I have been to various institutions and what I have experienced has really changed me.
I happen to judge issues from a different angle unlike other people. I always compare my situation with other historical events and make decisions. Through music someone is able to know what other people from different locations are going through. This has taught me to always appreciate what has happened to me because it is for a season. Philosophy is also reminds me that I should keep standing by the good deeds because everyone is affected by our good or bad.
