As a human resource manager there a lot of things and issues that are at stake especially if the business are destined to perform well. It is needless to stress and mention the fact that a business or any firm or organization had several aspects at stake and involved before output can be realized. It involves issues of motivating and encouraging the staff members so that they would give all their best for the achievement and organization of the business. It is to say that there must be proper and fair techniques of performance appraisal where quality and excellence on the part of the employees is rewarded. On the face value, it may seem practically impossible to monitor and to control the things that employees do especially when there is little supervision. However, in the advent of technology and changes in the digital world, it has become possible for a human resource manager to view and control the kind and amount of information that one views.
It is imperative to note and mention that excellence on the part of employees involves accurate and actual monitoring of the amount of time one allocates in doing office work. Such as replying mail or otherwise forwarding them. On a similar scale, it is also fair to note that an employee or employees may wander off their basic and primary duties and instead visit the social sites. It would be a waste of the organizations time and resources o the part of the employee. In order to achieve fate as the human resources manager, I have researched and settled on software that has the chance and prospects of monitoring the amount of data used and the sites visited.
Firstly, the site is beneficial since it happens to be compliant with almost all the operating systems of computers. It is also easy to configure, and once it is installed into a computer main programs, one is assured of no hustles or difficulties. It happens to be an indisputable benefit because a manager would have an easy chance and prospect of configuring the new development. As a human resources manager, it may be counter-productive if I, for instance, install a program on the computers that would cause more harm than good to our organization. It may come in varied forms because if the software is installed and then it brings complications such as not being able to be configured with the operating systems then, it would defeat logic. A practical example is where and when the operating system of the computer hangs, due to installation of the monitoring software management tool thus, implying that the reasons for installing the software management tool would be defeated. In principle, the software management tool is compatible with most of the operating systems thus eliminating the prospects and chances of non-compatibility with the operating system.
Secondly, there is the benefit of being customized to fit the need and demands of any business or a firm. It goes without saying that each and every business in the world has its unique requirements and dynamics. This logic, line of argument and reasoning is also relevant to the Information technology world and realm (Jones, 1998). It is to say that whenever an employee or any other staff member uses the computers of the organization, the software must can trace and report to the mainframe of the computer systems. Subsequently, the software management tool must can clean and clear its cache so that the next time one uses the site he or she would operate from a clean platform.
