Taking my education to the next level requires deeper understanding and critical decision from my end. My desire to take on a Master Degree in Information Technology will not only equip me with specialized knowledge in information system, technology and latest trends, but also provide with me good foundation and skill sets that I can eventually impart to the people and situation that I am in. This course will help me innovate and explore more opportunities from different perspectives and diverse working milieu. This education will assist me to cultivate new concepts and ideas that will have social impact and provide breakthroughs for sustainable development. A higher degree in information technology will prepare me to take conspicuous leadership responsibilities in developing, designing, instigating and managing tactical information system and information technology. The exposure in various courses and electives in this degree will further hone my analytical and critical thinking skills that will assist me in gaining deeper understanding of the value and application of different technologies. This experience should allow me to undergo potential consulting assignments and IT job contact with client companies. By doing this, I can immediately assess and assimilate the lessons that I am going to learn to my current work situation and in the actual challenges of information technology.
This degree will give me more opportunity to create potential networks among established various IT professionals of specialized and multidisciplinary skills and background. This course will provide me with an international collaborative learning ground to work and get exposure in a technology-mediated group with team from different countries. This learning ground includes devoted and passionate IT individuals who get out of their way and their working environment to research, investigate and innovate to optimize the existence of technology and explore how it can assist people in one way or another. Their commitment and passion in learning will inspire to not become so complacent of what I will learn in school, but also continue my journey to learn and discover the influence of information technology. With what I am going to learn in this course, from the professional network and passionate individuals whom I will work with, I intend to assist in defining standards that can elevate the minds of the students and help them discover the essence of taking specialized skills through a master degree. This standard will become socially recognized among my peers and other networks as well and will inspire them to improve and do the same thing. I will positively capitalize on the social recognition among my peers, not for my personal satisfaction, to share and establish awareness of the benefits of our research as an expert of my field.
Upon finishing this course, the experience should have provided me with good and solid foundation to handle and manage the people, process and technology effectively implicated in an intricate and persistently changing business environment. This course should have broaden my mind not only in the technical aspect of information technology, but also the organizational, legal, political, ethical and even global implication of administering technology, information and even other information technology professionals.
