Microsoft’s Irish subsidiary has a positive impact on the Irish economy. It is beneficial for the Irish economy in several ways as the investment made by the company in the country generates positive effects for the economy. The investment by the company could be considered to have significant importance as it has global operations and sells products all over the world. When such organizations have its subsidiary in a country it attract other companies to open their businesses in the same country. In addition to it, it also introduces new highly-skilled jobs in the country for the citizens of that country. The economy stabilizes and indicates positive indicators when the unemployment rate reduces. The standard of living of the people improves and it also increases the spending power of the people in the economy .

Google, Microsoft and Apple are the companies that are working legally but not much could be said regarding their ethical practices. These companies take make more profit by avoiding tax. All these companies have Irish subsidiaries to avoid high tax that will be collected from them in the United States. By avoiding tax, these organizations free themselves from their social responsibility. It is a social responsibility of every organization to pay full amount of tax as the tax money is used for the betterment of the society. These organization uses legal ways to avoid tax which might be a good thing for their company but it is not ethical. Paying tax should be considered as the social responsibility of every organization and organizations must not avoid taxes in their own country .
