The members believe in empowerment of citizens who are at the grassroots levels, and those in both the community, and the league. The league of women voters believes in equality for the citizens who are both at home and abroad. The organization considers knowledge and the ability to act as a requirement of citizenship. The league of women voters believes in modeling principles that enhance good governance. Collective decision-making is an important virtual among the league of women voters. Trust, honesty, and professionalism are some of the values honored by the league of women voters. The organization aims at empowering citizens for them to shape the worldwide communities.
