Every year more than three million of pilgrims come to Saudi Arabia to visit the Hajj and Umrah. Since the spread of the Coronavirus, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has worked hard hard to reduce this virus between all pilgrims. Each ministry has different tasks involved in assuring a seamless visit of pilgrims. Choose 2 or 3 of these tasks and discuss it with your group. 2-Checks pilgrims via air, land, and sea for health problems.
3-Connects with WHO and CDC.
4- Organizes a group of 22,500 of health walkers.
5-Organizes 15,000 of blood transfusions.
6- Organizes ambluence transportation for sick individuals.
7- Administers services at 22 hospitals 7 in Mecca, 9 Medina and 4 Mina.
8 Manages helicopters to transfer suspects’ cases of Coronavirus to Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah.
9- Administers 141 health care centers.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
There are a lot of measures taken to make sure everybody understands the Hajj. They cannot reach everyone because of the language barriers. Some countries neglect sending scholars to teach their people the right way of conduct at the Hajj.
Tasks:
1-Sends Scholars to other Islamic countries to teach pilgrims.
2--Advises scholars who come with pilgrims from their country.
3- Gives guidelines in books and brochures for translating different languages when pilgrims come to Saudi Arabia.
4- Does programming for on TVs and radios.
5-Focuses on groups of people ages specific 20 to 35.
