Introduction
This paper focuses on the core reasons that compelled Japan to enter in the World War II, and whey they did not call on ceasefire to their charm offensive. In this research I will be seeking to give answers to the myriads of questions, including; why Japan was actively engaged in this fight, the reason why Japan attacked the USA’s Pearl harbor, and why the aftermath of this attack lead to Truman’s adoption of the atomic bomb to end the Japanese aggression towards the USA.
Body
The who, what, and When
The roadmap to the Japanese involvement in the War was triggered by factors of international policies, which the Japan felt were not fulfilled in the aftermath of the world war one. Lack of compromise to the International policies fueled animosity against the Americans, and the British, who they accused, had sabotaged their noble plans to create a fair society, where discriminatory practices would be abolished (Kotani, and Chiharu 14). All these developments occurred immediately after World War I, and Japan felt a sense of sabotaged and shortchanged to the agreements of the League of Nations.
Major Developments to this war
Japan fought for the control and imperialisms of its sovereignty, and demanded social and economic liberty to its citizens. With its growing population, and need to feed its population, Japan needed a fair economic policy where it would have a mutual and bilateral trade front with the West (Gruhl 21).
The Pearl Harbor was attacked on the presumption that the Americans were secretly charming to join the Allied powers, and they secretly supported the Britain who engaged Japan in a fierce charm offensive. This attack was a response by the Japan against violation of the American international policy on wars, where they declared to remain neutral.
The steps leading up to the attack of the Japan began in the wake of Japanese aggression to control Asian territorial powers, and set imperialism through military conquest. This move saw Japan invade Shanghai China, and caused immense destruction to the Chinese territory. Japanese involvement in the war saw it sign a war pat with the Axis powers, and committed to support one another if ever attacked by the rival power. This angered the USA, even as Japan pushed its conquest to other territories that it deemed strategic for its supplies. In the wake of these negotiations, Japan engaged in charm offensive targeting the Pearl Harbor (Dower 16).
Conclusion: a brief summary
The World War II stood out as the greatest holocaust ever witnessed in the world, and it resulted to massive deaths and destruction of properties.
An end to this war resulted to the established of world peace and viable international policies.
