Business Report
The report analyzes the workforce transportation habits of the company. As the company is the largest private employer in the area with 43,500 employees, the city and county transportation officials have requested to look into this matter. To reduce the impact of the workforce, an employee survey is conducted which is analyzed below to help in making a proper decision. The purpose of the report is to analyze different factors and reach to the best possible solution.
The factors identified in the survey are presented in this section of the report. The data collected from the survey is presented in a graphical format. Figure 1 illustrates employees’ carpool habits, figure 2 discusses the use of Public Transport, figure 3 analyzes the effect of Potential Improvements to Public Transportation, and figure 4 provides a highlight on the view of employees related to telecommuting. The graphs are presented below.

As you can see from figure 1 that employees have different views about the carpool habits. 23% of the employees think that carpooling should be done every day for the week while some believe that it should only be done for certain days in a week. A minimal number of employees say that it should be randomly done while the majority of the workforce that is 64% believe that carpooling should be avoided.

Recommendations
The section of the report will provide a solution that can be used by the company to overcome the impact of the high workforce on transportation.
Solution 1: Public Transport
The company must use public transport because most of the employees will accept this change. It is noted that out of possible solutions, this solution had more acceptance and by focusing on some factors more employees will be willing to use it .
Solution 2: Telecommute
Another solution is of telecommuting. It is selected because of its acceptance amongst the employees, and it will reduce the traffic to a greater extent.
Conclusion
It noted that to reduce the impact of the workforce on traffic, the company provided three plans which can be effective. Out of the three plans, two plans are selected as the desired solution because of their high acceptance amongst the employees. Ms. Suarez is heartily invited to contact me anytime to discuss the recommendations made in the report.
