Other key elements articulated I the paper include interior appearances, dining cleanliness, seating arrangement, knowledge, timeliness, food presentation, as well as the exit experience.
Dining experience
The exterior of the restaurant was above average. The colors used were inviting and stood out in the street from other business. It is pertinent to note that the orientation of the branding materials used on the wall was also outstanding. The lighting was attractive creating a butterfly along the street. The entrance was clear and then there was no trash or debris around the entrance of the hotel. However, there was no prompt upon entering the hotel. The client was expected to go through the rotating door without any guidance (Sattler, 2007).
Upon entry, the ambience of the interior was fantastic. The decorations were of high quality and appropriately placed around the walls. The interior appearance of the restaurant creates a homely effect to the customers and colors used on the walls are warm. The ceiling was marble like to match the walls creating a flawless surrounding. The floor was covered by well-polished wooden blocks. The curtains covering the windows flowed to the floor and were well matched with the warm colors of the walls around the place. There were clear directions on the different sections of the restaurants and it was easy to access the rest rooms from the sitting area.
Selecting an appropriate table to settle down was easy since there were smiling people ready to direct you to an empty table. The dining cleanliness was excellent which a key positive aspect to observe is. The table was clean and well set allowing adequate seating allowance for the guests. The menus were well placed next to the centerpiece that incorporated a live rose flower. The tablecloths around the place where impeccable. Moreover, the uniforms of the servers were also clean and matched with the colors of the restaurant. It is pertinent to note that the dishware, glasses, as well as the flatware were impeccable (Dahmer, & Kahl, 2009).
The servers are welcoming and approached the guests with a polite greeting immediately after settling down on their seats. The server was courteous and provided adequate information on any offers available that day. The presentation of all the promotional items was to the point and elaborated the mastery of the server. On further enquiry regarding items on the menu, the server was able to provide adequate information regarding the ingredients and allergen information. The server then mentioned that the food would be served within ten minutes.
True to his word within seven minutes, the food had already been set up on the table and all the necessary items provided. The presentation of the food was awesome and very inviting. The taste was also good and fresh. However, there was an over emphasis on the use of spices. While taking the meal there was presence of management within the restaurant. However, neither the manager nor the supervisor paid a visit to our table. The check was presented a while before finishing the food. This was timely and there was an allowance for its cross examination to affirm that the right amount was charged. Upon settling the bill, the guests were thanked and welcomed back to the restaurant.
