INTRODUCTION
- Gun control issue is a matter of concern in the U.S as well as the other parts of the world. The relationship between gun control policies and the security of our people makes it a matter of crucial concern and interest in our country.
- The dangers associated with the irresponsible handling of small firearms makes it an issue of concern and consideration in our country. The issue of gun control in our country has also attracted many reactions from most of the states in the U.S.
- The citizens have taken the issue into consideration due to the close connection with their personal and domestic security issues. The security of our people. Gun control policies and strategies play an important in promoting the security of our people and their resources.
NARRATION
- Gun control issue is a matter of great concern in our society. The risks and security threats associated with the irresponsible and mishandling of small firearms in our society.
- The aspects of insecurity and violence are rampant in most of the states in the U.S. The people of our country are going through tragic and pathetic cases of violence due to the issue of mishandling of firearms. The issue of insecurity and violence in our community should be addressed and attended in order to maintain stability in our community (Harris, 2013, p.12).
- The cases of robbery and burglary in most parts of our country needs to be fully taken into consideration. The cases of robbery and violence in most of the states is related to the rampant misuse of small firearms without proper regulations.
- It is very sad that our innocent people are losing lives due to the reckless and mishandling of small firearms by the individuals who are the custodians of such firearms. Little and innocent children have also lost lives in schools due to the cases of violence caused by the poor management of guns.
CONFIRMATION
- The current state of guns and small firearms in our community is a threat to the security of our people. The deaths and injuries as well as loss of property in our community is very common, thereby, the need to address such problems (Hickey, 2012, p.24).
- The cases of domestic violence are common in the U.S where the people used guns wrongly used by the individuals. The emotional influence makes people to run out of control injuring their family neighbors with the firearms.
- As a security agent will urge you to take into consideration the policies and rules pertaining to gun control in the U.S., It is very clear and vivid that the mismanagement of guns in the U.S should lead to the death of innocent people.
- The cases of deaths in schools have recently been reported, thereby, making a matter to be addressed through gun control policies by the security agencies as well as the individuals at the grassroots. The cases of suicide have also taken place in the U.S leading to loss of lives that could be prevented or saved.
- The recent cases of gun violence in the U.S includes the death of Sidney Thomas in Washington. His was death was a result of gunshot without clear reason for his death on the past weekend. The death of two cousins on Sunday was also an example of gun violence in Newark whose names were Nyquese McCollum and N.J Damien.
- The recent cases of gun violence in the U.S also includes a son who was killed by his father Edward Moses because he saw his wife with another man. The cases of shooting in the U.S during the past weekend were around fifty seven gunshots .This shows that the issue of gun control needs serious attention in order to save the lives of the people in America from this menace.
REFUTATION
- The nature of violence and theft in most of the states is enough and valid reason to introduce gun control policies in our country. For our security to improve at the domestic level, this issue of gun control should be given considerate emphasis and attention fully support the gun control policies in the U.S in order to facilitate the safety of our resources and lives from reckless theft and burglary(Hester, 2013,p.14).
- The lives of our people are very precious, therefore, the reckless mishandling of small firearms should be allowed to terminate the dreams of our children and the innocent citizens.
- The right to a stable and secure environment is an ingredient to the success of our businesses and properties. The government and the security agencies should take this matter of gun control with great concern so to ensure that no property or business is interfered by the cases of theft and burglary.
- The forces opposing the issue of gun control are unrealistic since they do not have the interest of our people at heart (Kopel, 2013, p.18). The notions opposing gun control in the country should be regarded as null and void since our security is far much important than the interest of a few individuals.
CONCLUSION
- The importation of guns and small firearms should be closely examined in order to protect the innocent lives and the property our people. The individuals who handle guns and small firearms in our country should be penalized in order to appeal to them that the security of our people should be given priority.
- The essence of gun control in our country is for the protection of our people. The harmonization of gun control policies and regulations in all states will help us eliminate such insecurity threats to theft and suicidal killings. The security of our homes and public institutions, therefore, lies on the hand of the public through acceptance of the gun control policies.
