Is it necessary to have children?
There are few critics of the view who argue that life is much better without children since there is less pressure on parents and better living standard for them through avoiding the expenditure on children. In case of not getting married, children are mostly not desired due to the responsibilities associated with them. Even various married couples may adopt to not have children. Children make noise and disturbances in the house and they are additional responsibility for the parents. Children need regular attention and health care and they are required to be well fed and educated. Children may not be a necessity for a person since one individual not having children would have no effect on survival of human race.
An example to demonstrate that not having children makes life better is that when anyone has no children, there is no restriction to go out and enjoy himself. A person may not feel responsible to take care of children so that person can enjoy the life to the full extent. Children are also financial burden on the parents and especially on the single parents. The support and care to the children does not guarantee that the children would also take care of their parents when they get old.
Children are the offspring of people born from a mother and a father. In case of married couples, a certain number of children are preferred by most of the couples in order to pass their lineage and get some support from their children when they grow old. There are various other benefits of having children that include having a family to share problems and take care of each other in difficult times. Most important benefit of having children is that humanity is continuing through having children. Having children is an enjoyable experience since children are quite playful and fun. Children are good source of future security for the parents when they grow old.
The first example to support the point that it is necessary to have children is that if a scenario is considered in which one type of culture in this world starts banning to have children then that culture would simply just vanish and the people of that culture will cease to exist despite the fact that humans would still be living on the planet earth. Another example to support the point of necessity of having children is that everyone was once children and if that person’s parents would have decided to not have any children then that person would not have born hence any person who contests that people are not required to have children should consider questioning his own existence in this world.

Aging is an inevitable process that everyone faces during their life. Aging results in people getting older and eventually results in death. The old people have already lived all the phases of their life so they not only know what the life is all about and how to deal with the problems that are faced while living in this world. The old people are placed in elderly care homes in few countries. These care homes are good place for those elderly people who have no one to support them. Therefore, aging is not a serious issue at present.
An example of aging being not a serious issue is that it happens to every living being. No animal or specie of animal is exempted from this inevitable issue. It also results in death which is also an inevitable thing that happens to every living being. Being old prepares a person for death. If everyone would always remained young then there would have been no distinction about age and people would confuse fathers for sons and vice versa. Therefore, aging can’t be considered as serious issue.
Old care homes are supported by government which funds these homes from taxes. Such elderly care results in burden on the government. In most of the countries, there is either no elderly care or lack of elderly care. Elderly people also need high level of medical attention and care. If they contract any disease, the treatment is not as effective as in the case of youth. Elderly people are required to be regularly instructed to take their medicine on time.
One example that tells that the aging has become serious issue is that people have lost their family values and have started to put their old parents in elderly care homes. These homes are made with the intent to look after those old people who did not have children when they were young so that their children could support them. However, the trend is on the rise to put the old parents in such homes by their children who don’t feel obligated to take care of their parents. Another example to support the point that aging and become serious issue is that when people age, they tend to develop various diseases. Elderly people’s medical expenses are rising and government is unable to support their medical and care expenses to the full.
