The high profile of the organization enables it to attract top talents in the field of medicine. The management is committed to ensuring that the workforce remains satisfied and motivated. Thus, the hospital has a good talent attraction and management reputation. The hospital has well-established departments and has an established and vibrant outpatient unit. The hospital has been equipped with state of the art infrastructures. Thus, it can handle even the most complex healthcare needs. The other competitive advantage is the accessibility. The hospital is located in the heart of South Philadelphia with multiple access points by all means; thus, making it an ideal location for the patients. The institution has adopted the use of electronic health records thus making access to the medical records instantaneous and reducing the waiting time. (Jefferson Health, 2016).
Competitive Disadvantages
The enormous popularity associated with the institution attracts many patients both for emergency visits, routine checkups, and acute conditions.
