Nick Jonas put on a performance that was spectacular, energizing, and powerful. His music was melodic, and rhythmic. He appeared wearing a simple wardrobe which consisted of ripped-out jeans, and a jacket tied around his waist, as well as a t-shirt. He did not appear like a typical “pop” star, at all. He sang on a very large stage, and the band played behind the stage. A large band, it featured a trio of back-up singers who added extra harmony to Jonas’s impressive voice. Not only were his songs entertaining, but the crowd sang along with most of them. In addition, there was a large screen behind the stage which featured many hypnotizing images to go along with the white lights that shone past the stage onto the crowd. Moreover, the stage lighting changed color to match the mood of the songs. Overall, Jonas’s performance was impressive.
Demi Lovato also put on a great show. She wore a dark jumpsuit-like piece of apparel with sequins and rhinestones. Her wardrobe was striking, as it reflected the brilliant, ever-flashing lights both onstage and off-stage. Her music was very appealing. The melodies, and especially the lyrics, were catchy. With regards to her back-up band, the singers stood out, and on a few numbers, the pianist underscored Lovato’s enchanting voice. Lovato put on an excellent show, and was a crowd-pleaser, as many of the members of the crowd screamed, and sang along with the songs’ lyrics. If I had to guess, I would see this show again, as the flow of the music was smooth, and the energy conveyed was overwhelmingly uplifting.
