Golf is among the most popular sports played everywhere in the world. The game is easy to understand and offers people a chance to enjoy their time outdoors and share with new people. I have watched various golf matches but i got inspiration from 10-year-old boy who played the game so well and thus my interest for the game. Playing golf requires one to take lessons from golf professional. It starts by familiarizing yourself with the golf equipment.
For instance, it calls for one to purchase a used set of golf clubs such as a putter, 3 wood, 5, 7, 9, iron and a sand wedge. The next step involves taking some time to read and understand the rules of the game. When one is through with learning of the rules, it is recommendable for him or her to look for golf pro and book for golf lessons (Mark all).
The next step involves learning the basics of the game such as gripping the club, swinging the golf club and putting it as well as standing over the golf ball. The golf pro should incorporate all this as well as providing videos on how to handle the above-mentioned facilities. All said and done, the trainee should go to a driving range for some time before he or she head out onto the course. Ideally, this helps the trainee to build confidence in his or her club and shot selection.
The next step involves trying to go out to a 9 hole golf course which gives the trainee time to practise how to hit the ball far enough. The final stage of the game involves working on one’s short game that is putting and pitching. Regularly practising of the game at this stage plays a great role in helping one become a pro of this interesting game. To me golf remains a very interesting game and I like it very much (McGrath and David 15).
