The hurricane continued to rise in strength and effect. It had superb power to bring down property and influence the lives of the people in a negative way. Hurricane Isabel is the worst Hurricane ever to hit Chesapeake Bay in Virginia since 1933. It is the most costly hurricane in the history of the region with an approximate damage of $3 billion and 17 fatalities. The Hurricane Isabel recorded the highest speed of 265.5 km/h or 165 mph. The hurricane left Virginia in a devastating economic position.

The employees are divided into different activities. Some are officers, CBP agricultural specialists, Border Patrol agents, Air interdiction agents, marine interdiction agents, and aviation enforcement officers.
