Introduction to Film
There are various different types of actors or performing artists in the world of industry and they are categorized according to the roles they play or portray on stage, television shows, on commercials, and in movies. The five types of actors are impersonators, personality, star, wild card, and character. Impersonators are someone who imitates the actions or behavior of another person, actors, or celebrities. Personality actors play unusual roles and as he in many instances, they are better suited and successful in soap operas and sitcoms. Stars or movie stars can perform much whatever they want, cast based on their celebrity side, famous for their leading roles, and recognized as a marketable commodity, prominent, or successful actors. Character actors play the supporting roles; normally take roles such as sidekick or best friend of the main role. Wild actors are known on playing unexpected or extreme roles often becoming very unrecognizable as them. Prominent actors are competent of any of the five types at any time.
He is one of the most well – known impersonator in the Philippines, awarded and ranked as number one in the list of top Philippine impersonators in television shows. He is recognized as a comic impersonator and popularized songs “Do the Sherrap” mimicking the voice of former Philippine President Joseph Estrada and “Opisina” with the tune of M. C. Hammer mimicking the voice of Dolphy, the late king of comedian in the Philippines. Among the Filipino personalities Nepomuceno impersonates are the former President of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcus and Fidel Ramos, and Philippine Senators Gringo Honasan and Ping Lacson, television icon German Moreno, ARMM leader Nur Misuari, and the king of Filipino movies Fernando Poe Jr. In the international celebrities or persons, he usually imitates Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Stevie Wonder, Paul Anka, Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, Bruce Lee, Elvis Presley, superman, and more.

He is one of the well – known actors of all time. He performed crazy and scary movies such as the older version of Nightmare on Elm Street, Edward Scissorhands, and Blow, The Ninth Gate. Depp performed his awesome character role in Pirates of the Caribbean sequels, as the great and romantic pirate Jack Sparrow. The Corpse Bride an animated movie, he played the role of a gangster who robbed banks. In Alice in the Wonderland, Depp played the role of a Mad Hotter, he acted very well in this movie and created another wild character you will never forget. He is unique and acted with power in him to make fit in every character role he acts in all movies he had. Depp go beyond and does not care if he looks weird playing the roles in the movies.
Character Actor, Gary Oldman
He often cast usually as a villain or a man conflicted in movies he had. When looking to cast a specific type of character, these two choices made him one; he plays the role perfectly and fit in totally and a good actor that pull off a character. Oldman is an actor and a good leading man, done some lead roles but majority he is always been the bridesmaid never the bride, one of the best actors living today. Recently, he is in the films like The Book of Eli and The Dark Night. His motto is that, he never play the same character twice and always looking to challenge and test his abilities that makes it a little hard to merely call him a “Character Actor.” In addition, he make sure he delivers his role well even when a movie itself may not, often he will rise above it in many cases and be the most in everything he do good about it.
