Abstract
The main idea of the paper is based on four different case studies; each case study has its own significance and area of interest. One case study based on medical cure, the second one handles social media and the third one is all about Starbucks management and the forth one deals with Digital divide. We have answered certain questions related to each case study.
Question 1
The basic issue highlighted in the case is related to manual medical record management that is highly problematic and can be replaced by electronic method.
Question 2
The electronic record management is described as the collection of the activities that enable the creation, storage, distribution and application of the electronic record in the medical institutions. However, the recent progresses in the information technology had the insightful influence on the latest emergence of the electronic record management.
Question 3
In global perspective it is highly important for organization to significantly analyze the political and legal scenarios of the county in which tends to expand business operations. Medical institutions to have highly stable business environment in which every business entity can appropriately enhance its operations due to the fact that there are least chances of growing political issues in the country, but at the same time the company has to accept the fact that as there is changes in political conditions globally the organizational environment will be effected.
Question 4
Moreover, it represents processes of organization to assist for seeking a synergistic combination of the data and information processing capability of information technologies with the imaginative and innovative capacity of the individuals. It is observed that the most significant activities of the electronic record management include the electronic record initiation, creation, modeling, storage, distribution as well as transfer, utilization and rearrangement.
Q5 : On the other hand, the medical cure system can make most effective use of electronic record management systems. However; in spite of its success, it is going several electronic record management issues as users complained concerning the fact that they find difficulties in arranging and managing their data particularly in the collaborative medical environment. However, it is observed that electronic record management in project environments involves the formation, management, distribution and deployment of electronic record within and outside the project while the projects always produce project electronic record that involves technological, practical and organizational electronic record. Hence, the issue and challenge of electronic record management in projects is the documentation and administration of them and distribution as well as sharing of recently created electronic record.

The issue identified in the case is making use of social media or channels for business expansion (The future of social enterprise, 2012).

Numbers of e-commerce and sustaining technologies have benefited the service industries all across the globe enormously. One of the significant advantages of e-commerce includes the attraction of wide range of customers from the desired targeted markets along with increased competitive prices and convenience by the service sectors like tourism and travel, publishing, education, government services, real estate, employment industry, banking and others. The presence of e-commerce websites on internet has clearly indicated the same is in use by the service industry for different means and reasons like use of communities, provision of sufficient content, price discrimination, bundling, and development of economies of scale.
Question 2
In past also, there has been a constant struggle by the researchers for making evaluation of the effectiveness of social media in different types of ads and their impacts on advertisers and customers. There are three dimensions included the interest in commercials, attitude towards product and purchase intent of the customers.

Similarly, among the present studies, different researchers have examined that the companies use of social media channel business implication as a market strategy by stating that it can be used for grasping the attention customers. This is so because the presence of unexpected and unforeseen factor within the ads has the potentials to make the path of competition for a company in an effective way. On the other hand, the attention of the people can be diverted to any issue that is reflected through it. The most considerable advantage of the social business can be observed in the form of increased target market and portion of customers. It’s beneficial for most of the organizations to implement the concerned system.

Value chain of the Starbucks is based over following factors such as the logistic (inbound and outbound), operations, marketing, and the service of the company. Development was made in almost every sector for the formation of the effective chain value not in the mind of the customers of the organization, but also established effective relationship with the suppliers, distributors, and the employees of the organization. The logistic relations of the organization are linked with the customers of the organizations and the suppliers as well, which resulted in the contribution of effectiveness in the organization (Starbucks Management, 2010). Besides this, the effective logistic management of the company has resulted in the reduction of the cost of the production cycle that helped in generating more profit through the reduction of expenses of the business. Measurements are taken for the betterment and welfare of the employees of the organization by establishing standards for the employee’s rights.

Starbucks Coffee Company is basically a successful coffee business around the globe. The company is significantly able to attract number of customers and these consumers but from Starbucks despite of the fact that the coffee products are overpriced. In the similar regard, Starbucks successfully attracts investors as they find the coffee chain highly profitable investment to make.
Advancing technological means are significantly coming with innovative and product differentiation strategies which are now the basic demand of international consumer. In order to meet the demands of customers this can help to create brand loyalty in consumers. Technological influence in Starbucks represents to be very high. Its coffee house environment is fully prepared with technology i.e., it facilitates with Wi-Fi and mobile function technology (Knowledge Management Strategy, 2013). Furthermore, the coffee houses are also exclusive and has superb ambiance. However, the alteration to modern technology will increase the Starbucks overall efficiency.
Question 3
Technological development affects the business operation of non-food retailer to large extent. Advancement and development observed in the internet and web-based service facility has encouraged different retailers to have online presence. In this way, there is increasing trend in non-food retailing consumers to have convenient shopping experience.
Starbucks offers its consumer base to shop online and get their goods delivered with the help of technology. Additionally, social networking revolution has also changed the traditional business operation. Starbucks has also adopted social networking strategy to be integrated into its marketing.
Question 1
Innovation is basically idea of attaining new values through which new requirements are meet and add values to customers in new ways. Innovation can significantly achieved through effective alteration in products, technologies and through changes in overall business operations. Innovation in business is significant success factor for an organization. In reference it has been identified that innovation can occurs at any level of business unit and most of the smart business people make innovation as the main segment of organizational culture as they successfully develop environment in which innovative ideas for business performance expansion are encourage.

Business can significantly attain higher success with an idea of business innovation either it is related or unrelated. It is due to the fact that the digital divide come with wide range of opportunities for business expansion that reveals prosperous returns for business venture in international business environment (The new Digital Divide, 2013).

In reference to financial advantages, corporations as well as society through digital divide can attain higher returns, such as through joint agreements and acquisition strategies companies can enhance its profitability and living standards, cash flow as well as improve the borrowing power of organization in international market place.
Question 4
The most significant advantage of corporate digital divide is risk protection as now businesses are able to save themselves from the risk of failure. It is due to the fact that if a particular products or service of company get failed or obsolete in particular market place the company can take advantage of other range of products or can develop prominent strategies to enter into a prospective market place.

The paper deals with four different case studies, and each has its own domain, The first case deals with electronic medical record as a cure, the second shed light on social business, the third case has a reflection of star bucks technology usage, and the last one shed light on digital divide.
