It gives me great pleasure to submit this application for the chance to obtain a graduate degree in Information Technology Management. My background and my extensive experience are the chief reasons why I am interested in this program. To date my work and educational experience have been rooted firmly in working with computer networks, maintenance, and conflict resolution as it pertains to systems operations. Throughout my personal and work experience I have been influential in website and network maintenance, systems diagnostics, data management, and have shown excellent leadership qualities when working with a group. I have also received an honor certification from the Society of Collegiate Leadership and Achievement, an accomplishment of some note that further expresses my leadership skills and how capable I am of working efficiently in a group dynamic. Through great optimism and a firm dedication to my chosen field I am fully capable of bringing about a positive influence to any project I either preside over or help with.
At the current moment I am a student at Boise University where I am a senior with a major in Information Technology Management. I very much look towards continuing my education in this field throughout my college career, and have no doubt that my skills and experience will be helpful in successfully navigating the program. During the course of my college career I have been awarded with several achievement rewards and have even been given the opportunity to work on a real-life application called “Paramedic NovaSolus”. I am a very optimistic individual and can work equally well in a group dynamic or on my own, as I am very driven and goal-oriented. I believe my work and personal experience in leadership roles as well as my extensive experience in computer management, networking, and conflict resolution skills will be most valuable to my continued education and will benefit me greatly in this program.
My professional summary includes experience as a responsible and capable network technician, an experienced network administrator that has worked with Oracle High Availability environments, a systems architect skilled in data gathering analysis, and a system analyst that specializes in design. Each one of the skills I possess is a boon to my desired major, and will help to advance me further towards my current goal. I have a great interest in further my education with my desired major and am fully dedicated towards meeting whatever goals I set for myself.
At this current time I have managed to obtain an Associate of Science degree in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I was also awarded with an outstanding achievement award and was for a time a student government representative. As of recently I have obtained high honors at Boise University in Idaho, and have even earned an esteemed honor certificate from Beta Gamma Sigma, the fraternity to which I belong. My college career thus far has been quite successful, and I am very much looking forward to taking it to the next level. With my induction to this program I believe there is no limit to what I can do.
