Nazi, was a name mostly used to refer to Germany during the dictatorship periods of Adolf Hitler. This was from 1933 to 1945 where Hitler joined the Nazi party and became the leader (Levine 1). It was therefore during this period that the economy in the region was under severe stretch. Hitler himself had contributed much to this as he had engaged in racial segregation where he divided German’s based on their ethnic status. Therefore, after the Nazi party was created, there were several terms that were stated by the proponents. First, the requirement for one to belong to the Nazi party, he/she was to be of the German blood meaning being born in German. This, therefore, left all individuals who were not of the ‘race’, specifically the Jews of that time (Levine 1). The main idea was to unify German while making it a greater nation. Therefore, the German government came under the leadership of the Nazi. Their way of ruling was challenging, and this led the region to become weak in economic perspective. Discrimination was all time backwards as a particular race was hated all through. The Jews never had their freedom, and they were also unwanted aliens in the same place they had for long known as their home. Nazi proceedings and actions became dictatorial, in that for anyone to enjoy the privileges in Germany they had to be loyal. Despite all the activities of the German government during this regime, much concern was channelled towards Jews. Some laws were also made to deprive them off their citizenship. In addition to that, no one who went against his words. It was also a plot of reviving the region from its lost glory during the world wars where German was humiliated against during the Versailles treaty.
Based on what was going on in Germany, a movie by Maria Braun is beneficial in understanding that. There were procedures so as to revive the already broken economy in Germany. The movie is a story line of a young girl born in Germany during the period of world war two. It was a testing period as there was nowhere for one to run to (Rainer et al.).The Lives of the citizens at that time was challenging since the war had consumed much of what they had. Nazi regime specifically relates to the postwar period because it equally affected Germans’ economy as it was the case during the world wars. Several regions became exhausted as they used every single coin in the event of war. Every nation was careful so as to show off their might. In German, efforts were made to maintain the country’s status of being a super power. It thus engaged in fierce battles and struggles with its enemies such as the United States of America and also the Soviets Union now, Russia. Therefore, as the war period was a hard time for German, there were still some efforts in reviving the already dilapidated economy (Ebert 1). Nazi regime, therefore, worked carefully on reviving the nation’s economy in a span of four years. This was a great milestone having in mind that the country had little left after world war one. These achievements are what came to be referred to as Hitler’s economic miracle. It was unexpected that the economy of Germany could rise at that rate within a very short period. It is therefore through this that, Germany was able to restore its lost glory and even being able to re-arm itself again. Hitler made use of the sovereign credit, that is, what belonged to the state (.
During the Nazi regime, much was achieved in the country. Specifically, the economy, which was on the verge of collapse was raised again. Before this regime, it was a difficult time for the whole economy in the region. Hitler, although being a dictator worked tactically into reviving the region. He placed policies and also laws that specifically aimed at helping the investments which could provide capital for the government. Also, despite the revival of the region’s economy, it never went without challenges. Much of the terrorist activities that took place in Germany around 1970s has been explained. According to the article, one of such notable terrorist activity was the Munich Olympic Games attack in 1972. It left several people wounded while others lost their lives. Having in mind that the region was just recovering from the bruises of the world wars, this would have contributed greatly to the decline of the economy. Nevertheless, the nation was stronger in all the atrocities directed towards them, and they were able to stabilize themselves despite attacks. On the same way, Hitler on his regime was swift to conquer all the challenges that were affecting the country at that time. Though being biased over race, he was an influential individual towards the success of the country. The Nazi regime therefore clearly relates to the postwar and also the period of terrorism in Germany of 1970s if, all the periods involved the revival of the country’s declined state. It is thus as to why it is being referred to as the economic miracle since it was not any easy task maintaining the investment activities at such periods. (Liu 1)
In conclusion, therefore, it would be justifiable to put across that the Nazi regime was an important period for the growth of Germans ‘capital.
