I do not agree that infinite economic growth is sustainable. This is because people are now moving and preferring to improve quality of life, and for bringing improvement, they are utilizing resources. I agree that awareness, wisdom, and understanding plays an important role in this regard, but with the help of them people can only use these resources wisely, but they must have to use the resources. Further, industrial activities are increasing, which are exerting negative impact on environment, and depriving environment from natural resources. However, massive enhancement in consumption of the resources of earth, and the environmental influence of activities associated with industry pave the way to concluding that infinite economic growth is unsustainable.
I agree with you that a healthy ecosystem is essential and advantageous for each and every species that is present in the ecosystem. A healthy ecosystem makes survival of species possible. A healthy ecosystem helps in production of food, regulation of climate, protection of species from diseases, and providing support to pollination of crop, and nutrient cycle. However, awareness and co-operation of people are required in order to maintain healthy ecosystem. I also agree that healthy ecosystem is regarding issues on long term basis, and combining long term and short term requirements. I also agree that social development is required that pave the way to making people aware, and allow them to take necessary action in this regard.
Yes, you are right, I am also of opinion that social equity is ensuring equality for all individuals. In my opinion, equality and fairness are essential requirements for social equality. But, I do not believe that social equity is attainable. This is because, there is a need of revolutionary thinking in economics that can prevent depletion of resources. There is a need of regulating use of resources on long term basis for attaining social equity.
