Inspiring Essay About Why Do You Want To Become A Teacher?

We are all trying to find this one thing we would be ready to dedicate our whole life to. And sometimes, it takes a whole life to find a true place in this world. Luckily, I found mine a long time ago.
When I was 13 years old, teacher was the last profession I wanted to occupy. In different times of my life, I dreamt of becoming a football player, a businessman, and even a painter. However, everything changed when I met our new English teacher. When NAME started teaching our class, my attitude to the subject changed completely. The way he structured his lessons, talked to us and laughed together with us made me fall in love with English all over again.
It was he who made me want to help other children the same way as he did. It is so hard to find a teacher nowadays, who would be able to find a key to every person he teaches and discover his potential. Therefore, I want to become of those people and change students’ attitude to the subject, make them interested and motivated, encourage their personal growth and development. I want to learn how to create lesson plans in a way that all students would feel involved and included.
Also, I want to be as helpful for my student as I possibly can. I do not want to be a teacher who forgets about his students right after the bell rang. I want to contribute to their development as open-minded personalities, help them discover and achieve their goals.
I do understand all this is impossible without getting proper education and that is the reason I decided to enrol in this college. I want to be efficient and capable of helping each and every student, finding their needs and growing together with them.
Becoming a teacher is one of the wisest decisions I have made in life. I have never regretted my choice and am strongly convinced that I never will. This is a path I want to take and follow for the rest of my life.
