Life seems to be such a great tool for a person’s self-realization that sometimes it is quite difficult to define a perfect way to show yourself off to the world and achieve the greatest success possible. Hopefully, I have already found my own way for success, personal and professional growth. To my mind, in order to get to the top nowadays, one needs to manage several tasks at the same time. This is exactly what I am trying to do, and so far so good – while majoring at Florida State University, I have already tried working as an Accountant for a childcare organization. Unlike many of my peers, I have already made a decision regarding my future career – what I really want is to continue working in business related environment, to be more precise – in Finance field. Although I work in the library at the moment, this is only a step to my future success in business – I am using this opportunity to learn a lot from books I read in order to use this knowledge in my career.
It is said that hobbies are very eloquent – they can tell you a lot about a person. As for me, I consider art and reading my favorite things to do.
Art is really something I am crazy about – I adore painting and everything related to it. Definitely, art (whether it is painting or any other kind of arts) helps a person express themselves and lets all the thoughts to be depicted on canvas. Besides, it is a perfect way to relax and listen to your inner creative voice.
In addition to painting, I enjoy reading books as well. I strongly believe, that there is not limit for perfection and books are the best tool (of course, along with the ‘useful’ Internet) to improve your knowledge, personality and the perception of the world. It should be noted that I even volunteer to read stories for children in a public library – this gives me the feeling of contributing to our future – kids. Besides, I am currently working in the library while studying in FSU.
Abilities
I strongly believe that I possess evident communication skills. My work as a volunteer, reading stories for kids, is the best proof of it: dealing with children and grasping their attention is not an easy task to accomplish.
Furthermore, I can point out some of my professional skills. First of all, I am good at accounting – I have already worked as an Account for the childcare organization and everybody was satisfied with the way I completed every task. Among my responsibilities were the following: sending bills to the customers, fundraising and reporting about it monthly, dealing with multitasking. Secondly, I consider myself to be quite computer literate, with exceptional knowledge of Excel program - I used this software a lot while working as an Accountant: all the company’s figures (expenses, salaries, etc,) were managed and reported by me with the help of Excel.
Values
The last but not the least thing I would like to dwell on is my values. Family, balance, achievements, trust and giving – these are the main notions for me. I will always do my best to keep the balance between my family and my job. Moreover, I consider being sincere and trustful with people is also very important in life.
