A firm’s mission, vision, and culture dictate its objective and direction in service delivery and overall performance (Hellriegel, & Slocum, 2004, p.12). The Governance Institution’s mission is to provide trusted independent information to its shareholders, healthcare executives, and other leaders to support their efforts in governing their organizations. The firm’s health administrators and other workers aim to provide high quality information worldwide to improve the healthcare sector worldwide. This objective has given the employees an opportunity to interact with other healthcare providers, and share knowledge, which has enabled them to grow professionally.
Organization culture refers to how an organization’s members share ideas, and develop assumptions that form appropriate behaviors in the working environment. The organization culture helps a firm to identify and work towards achieving its objectives (Alvesson, 2002, p.16). Governance Institute has laid strategies to develop an appropriate organization culture that co-ordinates workers to ensure maximum productivity. The challenge is uniting different people with diverse perceptions and making them embrace the organization culture.
