Proposal
This paper will assess the different notions and perspectives that people have in different regions and cultures on the abortion practice. Just as there are pro-lifers who discourage it deeming it unethical, there are another lot who practice it often and have been accustomed to it until they not only practice it but also perceive it to be a normal medical procedure. These factors have been evaluated so as to come up with the conclusion whether abortion should be regarded as a crime or not.
The two main classifications of abortion and the procedures that are followed when carrying out abortion will be highlighted within the paper. The two procedures that will be discussed are non-surgical and surgical forms of abortion. Situations where both cases of abortion are most appropriate will, thereafter, be discussed in order to outline the factors that influence the type of abortion that is carried on a particular woman.
After a discussion of the different types of abortion, a number of cases that support and those that discourage abortion will be cited. Cases against abortion will mainly be related to those who practice it and the reasons they give to justify the practice of abortion. In addition rules, laws and regulations in densely populated countries like China in relation to abortion will then be discussed. Medical complications that are experienced by both the mother and the child, failure of the birth control measures and circumstances such as rape and forced incest which influence decisions that lead to abortion will then be discussed.
Some of the cases against abortion that will be discussed include murder and inhumane nature of the procedures, religious and universal ethics, severe medical complications that arise after the termination of pregnancy takes place, and strict laws set by countries that are pro-lifers.
After the discussion and evaluation of the important aspects surrounding abortion recommendations concerning the applicability of abortion will then be discussed. The opinions of various experts concerning this topic will be discussed and conclusions concerning the topic of abortion will be given thereafter.
