Question 1
A JAD team requires an executive sponsor who makes key decisions and has the ultimate authority in the team. One of the founders, either Timothy Jones or Dolores Garcia can act as the executive sponsor of the JAD team since they have authority in the organization and the rest of the members look up to them for leadership direction. The JAD team also requires a facilitator who is equipped to handle the sessions. The Human resource manager, Fred Brown would serve as facilitator due to his knowledge of all the employees and their areas of expertise. The documentor is another team member. They are supposed to be the facilitators impartial assistants. Anita Davenport, the office manager can serve as the documentor together with one of the support staff in the organization. For technical support participants, Lisa Sung, Susan Gilford, Tom Capaletti and Corrine Summers would be able to lend any technical advice required and are also well conversant with the JAD process. Carla Herrera would serve as the project manager since she is well versed with the costs of the materials and supplies needed for the JAD exercise. The business experts and observers can come from the rest of the members of the organization (Matthews, 2007).
