Dear Jane Doro:
This letter is support my recent application for a personal loan and to explain my position and decision to opt to turn my charge accounts over to a credit consumer counseling agency. My primary goal is to be able to sustain my family at the same time be able to keep my home that is in mortgage.
I have three kids and a wife and currently support my siblings, brother and sister. If I lose the house, my family and I will have to move out of the school district, possibly the state. My children’s teachers say should we move, the progress of our kids would be disrupted.
My youngest brother recently lost his job and has had to move in with my family. Having to take care of an extra member of the family atop completely supporting my sister through college, she is in her second year has caused a huge financial deficit. The cost of supporting a family of four plus my brother and paying for my sisters college fees has become overwhelming and recently left us in a number of debts. This necessitated the move to turn my charge accounts over to a credit consumer counseling agency to help managing the debts including the house mortgage.
I will be able to start making full payments on most of those debts and the mortgage soon. My brother got a part-time job at a local computer store and would soon switch to full-time by June 1. My wife also has her grocery store business picking up. Our collective household income is expected to grow by 57% in the next 3 months.
All our current financial information is enclosed with this letter. If I get a personal loan that is about $13,000 it would help offset some personal family bills including some medical expenses. Looking at the financial information, you will notice we have cut down on expenses as keeping our home and family together is important. Kindly put yourself in our position and help. Thank you very much for any effort you can make.
Sincerely,
John Doe
