More people think about their safety and comfort on traffic trying to get the car with the optimal combination of such advantages as comfort, safety, ease of operations, cost of service and prestige. Therefore, there is a burning question what cars are better - German or Japanese?
First of all, German cars are the best choice for those who seek to emphasize their high social status for a minimum price. Driving on Japanese cars is also quite prestigious, but this is very subjective issue. Japanese cars are more into technology: for example, all-wheel drive SH-AWD installed in the Japanese cars yet has no analogues in the world. Japanese and German automakers both offer a large range of models. Japanese cars are better adapted to bad roads as well as operating in different climatic zones, while German cars with their engines with fuel injection, ceramic-plated cylinder, turbocharged and sensitive suspension fully reveal their advantages only on the high-quality roads. It is believed that German cars are more expensive to maintain but it's not quite true. The cost of replacing oil and filters for German and Japanese cars is the same but the German cars often need to change sensors "to erase mistakes" in electronics or change the details of the suspension. In addition Japanese cars need the repair rarely. But at the same time, Japanese car manufacturers recommend to carry out maintenance more often than German, however, this approach significantly reduces the loss in value of Japanese cars after a few years of operation.
Overall, both German and Japanese cars are both reliable and the choice mostly depends on the tastes of the owner, the quality of roads and the climate.
