Definition of Problem
The technology has squeezed the map of world into a global village and this poses great challenges for HRPs to design polices accordingly. The business environment is now globally connected and this leads to workforce with people from different cultures and background. The HRPs are now facing a challenge to strategically integrate the role of HR in the success of an organization. Globalization has forced HRPs to formulate policies to facilitate learning and development of teams. HRPs need to link strategies and the work process according to the emerging global business concern in order to help employees to fulfill their goals and the objectives of the organization. The managers are currently facing a challenge to integrate the international approaches with the internal policies of the organization. The main focus of this article is to articulate the important role of SHRM in developing effective team learning sessions for diverse workforce.
Summary of Previous Investigations
Previous studies have shown that globalization has changed the role of HRM and now professionals are looking keenly to adopt new techniques to shift the role of HRM from traditional pattern to more strategic. This strategic participation of HRM is very imperative to develop teams and impart new concepts and skills for their better performance and job satisfaction. Previously organizations were not implementing the HR policies in a strategic manner and the role of HRPs was limited to traditional administrative role (Alharthey, Bandar , Amran, pp 10446-10451) . Business world is turning more and more competitive with diverse human capital. HRPs are now striving to design new and comprehensive strategies to handle the teams of people with different backgrounds by providing them appropriate coaching and training to face the upcoming challenges.
Identification
The article has extensively emphasizes the importance of human workforce in the success of organization. There are other important aspects have been neglected that are important for an organization to excel like stakeholders. Though the importance of competitive force is very high but side by side there are other elements that play vital role. Article talks about the SHRM and its pivotal role in developing and coaching teams to make them competitive in the business world.
Recommendations
The article gives an insight to the fact that SHRM can substantially enhance the value added business approaches and also align the strategic goals of organization with the goals of employees. HRM can be very helpful by proactively participating in the effective team learning process. It is very important for HRPs to evaluate and identify learning technique according to the members of team. HRPS can also facilitate the learning culture of organization by fostering the knowledge sharing behavior by implementing strong framework of integrated set of policies. In nutshell I believe that role of HRM has become more demanding and responsible and for that HRPs should adopt strategic approaches to ensure competitive and skilled human capital and efficient learning culture. The key factor in gaining lead from competitors is making team interactive and strong sense of coordination among the members of team. Therefore SHRM is the best possible way for the managers to face the challenges and to take corrective measure accordingly in order to create benchmark in marketplace.
