Introduction
The description of my fictional company is that it is a chain of restaurants as well as an event planning center. The name of my company is La’Mosleys Restaurant and Event Planning Center.
Business organization
La’Mosleys Restaurant Event and Planning Center shall be a series of seven restaurants specializing in, weddings, family reunions, parties, and events planning. Each field of specialization has a manager who is professionally specialized in the particular department, be it event planning, wedding or a party organization. The staff shall demonstrate unity, always striving together for common goals. These goals shall be to ensure that the customer is fully satisfied through memorable quality services.
Potential legal or ethical issues
La’Mosley’s embrace the virtuous ethics to the latter to ensure that the business environment is not harmful but instead, is beneficial to the stakeholders, managers and employees.
Among other things, the duty of the business management will be to ensure that there is a clean, organized and safe environment for employees to work in. an extensive and wholesome experience shall also be provided for the employees. With our vendors and suppliers, so as to be able to create the best quality in our services and products, with reasonably affordable price for the customers, loyal relationship shall be forged at all cost.
Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated within the company we want to offer our employees a hassle-free work environment. The company shall condemn dishonesty of any kind among the staff with the utmost penalty.
Honesty and integrity shall be embraced as the building blocks of the company, in order to ensure that nothing jeopardizes our cordial relationship with our customers.
At all costs, there shall be fairness and impartiality in training, hiring, and career development of the staff. On the other hand, promotion and performance appraisals shall be done purely on merit with no gender racial or age inclination.
Confidence and wisdom in making of decisions shall become a feature of the company. This means that there will be room for openness and accountability as a result. La’Mosley’s will hold all management answerable improper implementation of these policies. Termination of employment may result in the case of any failure to meet the policies.
Business culture
The business culture expected to be seen in La’Mosleys company shall include: The distribution of resources by strong, firm, but unbiased leaders. The consequences for any mismanagement shall be dire. Only the results and not fruitless efforts in the company shall be rewarded. With the value for the employees, the employee peace of mind and harmony are highly cherished and supported. We will aspire to ensure that there is efficiency, clear responsibility and justice in the company.
Types of motivation
Investment motivation will be embraced to ensure that owners become physically and emotionally invested in the company for success to be realized. Self-Improvement Motivation by encouraging the staff to always appear smart, look good and be good. Consistency motivation whereby all the people relentlessly contribute in achieving the company’s goals. Extrinsic motivation whereby the good performers are rewarded accordingly.
Human resource management
The human resource department is going to be composed of five areas, which include staff training, performance appraisal, employee recruitment, labor relations, payments and employee benefits. In our business, I would like to develop on the staff training and career development components so that the employees become efficient in ensuring that the company has a higher competitive advantage over its competitors.
I would accomplish this by guaranteeing that the training program presented by the company ensures that career and goal-oriented staff exist in the company. I would then put together these career goals with the company’s goals to ensure that the employees achieve the two set of goals simultaneously.
I would train the staff on what it takes to be leading executives in the wedding and event planning profession market. By providing this knowledge to them, the staff would therefore, be in a position to apply it for purpose of La’Mosleys Restaurant Event and Planning Center. Also, I would train the staff on the importance of keeping a good code of ethical conduct in their operations. This will help them become respectable professionals while at the same time will ensure that the company’s operations are done ethically. Training and career development will be of benefit to both the organization and the staff. However, most staff and managers usually take little seriousness on this. I will therefore, seek to revolutionize this notion for the betterment of both these staff and the company.

Technology will be embraced in the company in order to realize: Computerization of manual tasks, reporting, analytics for decision making, and amalgamation between management systems
Operations and materials management
The management shall run, plan and redesign the operations employed by the business in its move to deliver quality services and products. It shall also guarantee that business operations work efficiently through proper utilization of resources. The management shall also ensure effectiveness by satisfying the customer needs and handle the processes that add value.
