Over the years, scholars have shown their concern on women leadership and their impact in the society. The arguments about women leadership have been a major debate whether women should be leaders or not. Based on the article, "Women and Leadership “by Crystal Hoyt, it is evident that women can lead just like men. For instance, Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan, Marlene, and Margaret have been prominent female leaders that have proved that women can be leaders. Based on the article, it is clear that more women are engaging in the position of being leaders. According to the author, it is evident that the leadership styles of women and men are equal. However, the major issues that most people especially men believe that women were not meant to be leaders because of the roles they play in families (Hoyt, 2013).
Based on the article, it is evident that women were not allowed to play the role of leadership because men believed they should be taking care of their families. However, recent researches have examined the role played by both men and women and noticed that women are equal to men. In the current world, women can manage an organization because they have been trained to so. Based on the article, women were less effective compared men especially in the military positions. However, it is evident that women were intelligent than men in education, social service organizations, and government. It is evident that women are equal to men because they can run any organization. In addition, women are intelligent in the role of leadership because they have proven that they can be leaders (Hoyt, 2013).
