Leadership is the complex of actions undertaken by a leader in order to achieve success in the chosen field. The main concepts of the leadership are the ability to envision the future, take lessons from the past, evaluate the present and find the best solution in order to prospect the future. As a leader one should be attentive to coworkers, have the patience and desire to listen to companions fully, adjust to the change in the rapidly changing world and act according to one’s passion.
The main concept of the chapter is to find one’s passion and follow it developing the vision of the company among fellows and being able to implement it wisely and successfully. The strong leader should be driven not only by the external means, but also by the inner desire to change the world, develop and invent new solutions or products in order to achieve success and bring new ideas and ideals into society, market and service. Creation of the new concepts may take a lot of time, uncertainty and concerns as exploring the new horizons is doing something no one has ever undertaken. In such case it is strongly recommended to slow down, evaluate the idea, its prospects and future implementation in the chosen field.
The individual approach to the worker or customer, ability to find out one’s strengths, weaknesses and prospects, share the vision and implement it would help every leader to build a strong team of professionals and share the vision of the company among its members. The practice of noticing the needs of one and attentiveness to the problems and concerns of the target audience is a powerful weapon in the hands of a true leader.

The possibility to enlist others and make people believe and follow the proposed idea can be considered as a talent, which is given to a few. Nonetheless, there are some major techniques and guidance to follow in order to enlist people and become a charismatic leader. In order to attract people, one should strongly believe into the idea and be frank with own followers, moreover, the idea should be supported by a clear plan of its future implementation and address the common ideals of the masses. In other words, followers should see own future following the vision of the leader and the leader oneself should show in practice that the idea works.
The main takeaway of this chapter is that each vision and its ideals should make a difference in the world, be unique, grand and have great prospects to bring the change into people’s everyday life. Only belief that the group is doing something outgoing is the great stimulus for each member to contribute more into the common business. Another key to group the team and make work more efficient is to show that the labor of each member is extremely important and noble. A true leader should acknowledge workers that they are the part of the system and their work directly influence the quality of performance of other members and only together they can achieve desirable goals.
In the era of new technologies and approaches to work, the leader should try using different means of communication: presentations, films, media devices, tell stories, create a positive environment at work encouraging workers to do more and be enthusiastic about the given task. In order to make the speech, story or a presentation more vivid and memorable, the leader can use metaphors, verbal and non-verbal means of communication and put strong emotions into the speech. These are the things that can be implemented by a leader in the working process.
