When a leader encourages the heart of the collaborator in a successful way, the results are overwhelming because the collaborator has a high motivation level, thanks to the job of the leader to communicate using emotions and not reason. A good leader knows when the use the reason and the emotion to achieve the objectives of the organization. Encourage the heart by a leader may result in a counterproductive result where the follower may feel that the leaders want to manipulate the people to receive a personal benefit and not a common benefit .

It is important to separate the accomplishments of an individual or a group. When an individual had success in a specific task or a job, the leader must celebrate the result of the individual communicating to the group the performance of the individual. When there is a positive result by the group, the celebration is by the group. The leader must not celebrate individual results with a group and by group results with an individual.

There are three things necessaries to be a good leader: a clear vision, have a passion for the organization or project and be a role model. A clear vision consists in having defined the objectives and goals of the organization. Having passion consists in to fell and transmit emotion for the organization or project; the emotion must be transmitted to the staff of the leader. The role model consists that the leader must be a role model for the other employees or collaborators of the organization .

There are three things necessary to learn to be a good leader: Daily communication with collaborators and staff, Prepare every day and transmit emotion to the people. The daily communication must be using different communication channels since the direct contact and technological applications as electronic mail or video conferences. The leader must prepare every day with the reading, business administration masters and other tools to prepare as a leader. The transmission of the emotion starts with the leader; the way the leader is a commitment to the project or organization, the downline will follow the leader.
