Use of conferences and professional association with staff members may help meet employees that are good for the bank (Pankl, Theiss, & Bushing, 2010).
Involve employees in the hiring process – Involving the current employees in the hiring process will improve in the quality of recruits since the current employees know the demands of the job thus are in the best position to judge the best potential candidates. They can participate in interviews, check on resumes, qualifications and also recommend candidates (Pankl, Theiss, & Bushing, 2010).
Use of the bank website for recruiting – The bank website is important in determining the type of candidates that will apply for the job. The website shows what the bank does, the mission and the vision. As a result, candidates who apply through the website are able to see the needs of the bank and what is expected of the recruits. It will be easy for the bank to get the best possible candidates as a result (Pankl, Theiss, & Bushing, 2010).
Hire the best available candidate – The bank should focus on hiring the best candidates who will not make mistakes during their working period. Banks require candidates who have good communication skills and can work well with the people in the industry. As a result, it is important when recruiting, the best candidates in terms of the qualifications and experience are picked since the industry is competitive and a dynamic workforce will keep the competitors on toes thus the National Commercial Bank will be a able to retain customers (Pankl, Theiss, & Bushing, 2010).
