Cover Letter
My own comic would be a charming super hero whose main power is to entertain children. He would be plump, round-faced man who loves kids and know the approach to them. He would be in this 60s and children would address him as “Grandpa.” He would look a little bit similar to this:
He would devote his life to serve as an entertainer to children. In the book, there would be lots of funny stories related to his adventures. Grandpa would be also good at cooking cakes and making every child’s birthday extraordinary and full of joy. His manner of communication would be very funny because he would make up his own words and confuse little children. The subject is very close to me because I have a deep love to my own grandfather, whose love to his grandchildren is endless. We used to play different kinds of games that he remembered from his childhood. These games were a hundred times more exciting than modern computer games because he managed to involve all children in our neighborhood to play. This was that kind of childhood that I would want every child to have, so I want to share it in my comic story.
I would eliminate any negative protagonist from my comic story, because Grandpa would not have any enemies. He will be a friend to parents who would trust him with their children. He would be a hero for all children, and his main goal would be to make everyone happy. However, he would be a little bit awkward, and that is why children would have lots of fun with him. He would like to tell funny and terrifying stories (which I would write in detail in my book). Grandpa would be a real expert of babysitting. I believe that such a comic protagonist would be close to every child, as they all have or would want to have such a grandfather.
My description of my own comic requires improving. I believe that while writing this story, I would add more and more funny details about the main hero that would make it more exciting to the audience. I expect that children will not only have fun while reading it, but also learn something practical from Grandpa’s stories. My aim is to teach and entertain the audience. Also, I believe such a kind and sincere hero would make every child to feel happy and loved. On the pages of this comic, children would find lots of games that they can play in reality. I intend to make them play in the real world with their peers, instead of spending time online in the virtual world. I drew my inspiration from the childhood I have, and I have a clear vision of how it must be for others.
So my plan is to use as much of my real experience as possible to inspire parents and children to have different, happier childhood for them to remember it for their entire life.
