Marketing has been my childhood dream career, and I am now ready and prepared to undertake duties and responsibilities of a professional service marketer. My future roles in the service-marketing career will involve establishing effective and efficient marketing strategies that improve the organization's competitiveness. In the contemporary business world, things keep changing because of advancements in technologies and daily innovations happening worldwide. People are likely to rely more on technology for communication and other business transactions in the future that they do today. Hence, I will utilize skills, and knowledge gained both in class and through practice to develop technologically advanced tools to meet future customer needs and make them attracted to the organization. Additionally, service marketing is more of persuading customers to use specific services rather than consume or buy goods. I will use my creativity to improve current marketing tools such as thinking of unique promotion and advertising strategies to attract more clients to the business.
On the other hand, social media will play a critical role in service marketing in the future. The number of people using the social media increases by an enormous percentage every day making social media a potential marketing tool in the future. I will take advantage of social media to create a unique brand that differentiates services of the organization from those of competitors. Through internet branding, I will manage to protect and manage the service strategy and sell it to different potential clients worldwide. Moreover, I will constantly engage customers using different social media channels by developing eye-catching posts and promotions that allow users to invite friends to the organization's page.
Personal qualifications for the position
I am a highly qualified person in the field of service marketing. My degree in marketing gives me the ability to interpret complex information, solve sophisticated problems, work in diverse environments, and meet deadlines. Additionally, I have two years of working experience in service marketing acquired during my internships and short-term jobs I used to undertake during holiday breaks at different hospitality industries. Throughout my academics and practice as a service marketer, I gained more experiences and skills on how to deal with customers from diverse backgrounds. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills that allow me to build an understanding of the client and establish their needs and preferences. Effective communication plays a vital role in winning the competitive advantage in a competitive industry. I will utilize these skills to reach the future target market.
Second, my interest in reading and understanding about happenings in the business and the commercial world gives me an added advantage. I have the ability to understand the marketing trend and predict about future expectations by analyzing consumer wants and needs in the industry. The following ability will assist in developing unique strategies that address future needs of consumers. Hence, the organization will manage to position its services using factors such as quality, price, and features to overcome competitors. Having consumer's perception of a service assists the organization to establish an effective positioning strategy.
Finally, I possess good organizational skills that give me the ability to lead and succeed in different ventures. My duties as a student leader in the university assisted in understanding characteristics of a good team leader that are necessary for coordinating employees in the department towards achieving the organization goals. I can relate to people from different cultural backgrounds and align them into one group with a common goal that will help move the organization to the next level and overcome future challenges in the contemporary business world.
