Physical versus spiritual flexibility in stewardship
In life, flexibility is an important aspect that is incorporated by individuals, professionals and corporations. For instance, stewards or leaders need to be both spiritually and physically flexible for them to deliver their services effectively to their followers. Physical flexibility of a steward refers to the ability of the individual to change location and still be able to administer their duties with efficacy. The steward needs to be able to adapt to various environments with ease and perform their duties optimally.
On the other hand, spiritual flexibility refers ability of the stewards to perform their obligations under different forces or pressure. For instance, while handling a fragile or spiritually handicapped crowd, the steward has to be spiritually flexible to administer their duties accordingly. Being spiritually flexible requires a mind that is set to accommodate the varying responses from the crowd or the followers the steward is responsible for; and thus requires a diverse mindset.
Muscular strength versus muscular endurance
As individuals are undertaking body exercises to improve their physical fitness, there is need to understand the difference between forms of muscle exercises which are; muscle strength and muscle endurance. The latter varies due to the time taken and force exerted during the period of exercise. Muscle endurance refers to the capability to repeat an exercise for a prolonged period without being exhausted(Cespedes, 2013). For instance, an individual exercising in a gym may decide to perform fifty pushups and fifty squats in a rhythm for a period of say thirty minutes. The exercise builds a specific muscle group through the exercise of contraction and expansion of the muscles. In the end, the muscles tend to adapt to the exercise, which suggests that they have endured the pressure exerted to them, which suggests that the program is successful. Various body muscles require the endurance practice to ensure that the body develops power and stamina; which leads to proper body function in processes such as toxins excretion.
On the other hand, muscle strength refers to exerting a force or pressure for a limited period. For instance, one may be required to carry a heavy bag from the house to the parking. The exercise requires force to be applied on the load for a short time frame, and this is where muscle strength is relevant. The load puts a resistance to the muscle, which calls for the muscle to exert pressure against such resistance. Muscle strength exercises help individuals to build their muscles overtime. As people are undergoing training programs, they should embark on programs that create both strength and endurance to the muscles.
