Climate change is one of the common natural events that have affected most countries from all over the world. However, the magnitude and impacts of the changes are felt differently from different regions. Some of the regions do not face high magnitude of impact while as others do. Initially, Florida is one of the areas where climate change has been felt.
Accordingly, it is essential to tackle the climatic change in Florida since its impacts are regularly witnessed. For example, the release of greenhouse gases has influenced the high rate of climate change. Ideally, Miami-Dade is one of the sections where greenhouse gases have a large impact. Recently, occurrences that are closely related to climatic changes have occurred infrequent rates. The ultimate rise in the sea level is deemed to endanger the lives of other people. In addition, the health of the people in Florida has been deteriorating due to the increased level of emission of greenhouse gases that cause global warming.
The increased rate at which global warming is occurring may affect the economic status of Florida. For instance, the Miami investment may lose clients due to the expected rise of the sea waters which would cause flooding in the areas where people reside. Similarly, the businessmen may opt to push their investments to the northern states. In addition, the agricultural production rate has deteriorated. The ability to have food security scheme has been threatened.
Necessary efforts to restrain the state from suffering direct impacts prove the state’s immune system. Global warming cannot be easily controlled once it starts taking effect. In Miami, the government may be required to build expensive sea walls. Similarly, if an advanced methodology is not drafted, the agricultural productivity is not present since the benefits may be insignificant within a short time.
