For the States, I first wrote down all the alphabets and went down on each letter trying to recall a state that begins with that letter. When I finished, I went back and rechecked the states that I had missed and I had a 90% recall rate. I applied the same method for the counties and as well for the countries in the globe. I had a recall rate of 72% in the counties and 67% of the countries in the globe. I then went back to the list and recalled any conspicuous country that I might have forgotten and wrote it down.
