- It is important to make instruction accurate for students as this is the basis for much of their future learning. If they are not receiving an accurate foundation on which to build, it will potentially be impossible for them to build on that learning in a precise manner for their future learning endeavors. Logical learning helps students retain material and helps them to utilize higher level thinking skills, which leads to them being able to make better sense of information and incorporate the information into more areas of their education and their daily lives.
- Content can be made understandable to students by breaking large concepts down into smaller components. By taking information and breaking it into smaller sections, it is less overwhelming for the students to grasp and comprehend. By taking the same content and making it applicable to their daily lives and their community through demonstrating how the information is relevant to them and how they live, when possible, it is also easier for the students to comprehend something if there can be any sort of personal connection associated with it.
- Students are drawn to using technology and find it alluring to use it even when there is an educational component associated with it. The material seems less intimidating, students are more willing to conduct research, and there seems to be more of a connection to the unknown if there is a technological component associated with the unknown. The more that schools and educators are able to incorporate technology into the curriculum, if done correctly, the more students can be engaged in the learning process. Often technology can be used to create a student-centered instructional atmosphere which is a concept which many instructional institutions are seeking to achieve at this time.
