This semester has been a unique one particularly due to the vast knowledge and skills I gained. My management course for the semester is a major reason why I feel this way. This is because the course has helped to become a better manager of myself. I have learnt how to plan for my time and also how to account for all the resources I have. The course has also helped me to come out more strongly as a leader. I have also learnt how to manage projects that I am given and how to measure the effectiveness of those I am working with.
I feel I have done well in this course though I still believe that if I had an opportunity I would improve my performance. If I had a chance to do this course again, I would organize my time better and also research more on topics of the course. I also feel that given the chance I would consult more with my lecturers on the course materials to help give me a clear understanding of the course. I feel this course is one that demands a lot of group learning and I feel that if I had the chance to redo it again, I would engage more in group work. I would also consult more management journals to get a more insightful understanding of the course.
This course has been of great impact in my life and I believe one way that I will be able to measure its effectiveness is by analyzing my efficiency as a manager. I will also analyze my skills in project management as this will also help in showing whether I fully understood the course.
