Everything business cannot utilize technology to enhance their business. A business of selling fruits and vegetables in a wet market cannot utilize information technology to aid them in selling their products on site because the business depends on the number of buyers coming, but it can utilize mobile technology to get orders and ask clients for their orders. Another business that can’t be helped by technology is the business of having a banana plantation. Of course, IT can help the business with the recording part but the actual increasing of banana fruit yield can’t be helped by IT. The business of Mobile Loading can’t also utilize IT because this business depends on the coming of customers just like the street vendors where their products has no stock numbers and no fixed prices because they can give abrupt discounts and with no fixed rate. There are several businesses that can’t utilize IT to increase their profits but can use IT for their administrative tasks especially on recording purposes.

One of the IT careers available is that of being a System Analysts where the salary ranges from $56,000 to $93,000. The job requirements includes knowledge of office tools, must have excellent written and oral communication skills, at least 2 years experience in project management and system development and must also have technical knowledge in both programming and computer maintenance management systems. Effy Oz identified eight key concepts to gain competitive advantage in business. This includes having the initiative, reducing cost, raising barriers to market entrants, establishing high switching costs, creation of new products or services, adding variety to products and services, enhancing products or services, establishing alliances and locking in suppliers and buyers (Oz, 2009). When locking in suppliers and buyers it is good to combine this with high switching costs of costumers. Another way is the creation of a standard giving a fear for the customers to utilize other products fearing that their quality needs will not be met. (Shibanoff, 2012)

Apple, Inc is considered as one of the leaders in the technology industry. It is considered advanced because it uses the leapfrogging strategy where it introduces a new product when its competitors at almost at par with it which is way advanced or ahead of the other companies. (Kottolli, 2008). The organization utilizes information technology especially in its marketing strategies aside from creating innovative products that utilizes IT.

The hardware industry would continue to take advance steps in the future. More powerful gadgets that are becoming more micro will be developed by the hardware industry. Information Technology uses especially because of the nano nature of it can now be carried it anywhere people will go. There will come a time when everyone would be using the byproducts of IT in all its activities.

I am planning to open a touring business next year so I need a web-based Costumer Relationship Management System and a web based scheduling and reservation system. It would be web-based to facilitate communication and transactions with the clients as well as to serve as one of the advertising methods. Other specific features other than the usual features of the system are that it should have the capability to accumulate loyalty points for the customers to gain benefits of being a loyal customer.
