1. Sheryl Sanberg challenges people in management positions as she strives to create awareness of how women can succeed in the business world (Gira 3).
4. Assertiveness versus nurturing is the most applicable dimension of the Hofstede cultural diversity according to Sheryl's experiences. From her experience she removed the internal barriers that make most women lack self-confidence, limiting them from raising their hands and pulling them back when they should be leaning in. According to Sheryl if a woman is to access more powerful positions at work they need to crack the glass ceiling (Gira 2).
5. The global dimension that applies to Sandberg lean in theory is about equality which requires women to given equal opportunities as men to excel in the business world (Singh 44).
6. Sandberg's' view on gender about the four management functions is that women are naturally good planners because they can easily balance work and home duties.
7. Sandberg's' gender issue can be relevant to few countries outside the United States of America because not many countries are ready to nurture women or help women lean in. Also, inequality has become an endless debate because most countries still limit women from participating at the top level (Singh 46).
