There are several stages in consumers purchase decision, the process start from problem recognition. This is where a customer identifies the reason of having a certain commodity which can be used to solve that person’s needs. Information search is the second process in which the consumer looks for right information about the product he or she has to take into consideration when purchasing. Consumer there after looks for other option, and he or she engages in purchase experience. Finally consumer undergoes post-purchase behavior.
The major psychological influences on consumer behavior are strategies to minimize perceived thoughts. For example, it provides warranties, ensure safety in endorsement and give extension to instructions. The second psychological influence is attitude formation. The third one is attitude transformation which include coming up with a new commodity attributes. Finally consumer is influenced by the way of life. Social and cultural influences on consumer are for example, most of the tribal communities purchase almost only one line of products. Subcultures also influence consumers’ behavior. This result from choosing the type of products they are familiar with therefore, neglecting others.
The time my contract is ready for upgrade, I would take ten months to select the brand. I consider this appropriate after I did a thorough market assessment. The brand selection is appropriate at this time because, I will be in a very good position by doing adjustments that covers my consumers’ needs. This time will be appropriate for me to pay minimum amount of money compared to any other time. A product or service becomes a compelling purchase when it has arrived at that state whereby it meets
A consumer needs. This is when the customer is fully satisfied with the product or service that is readily available for sale.
The brand becomes compelling purchase when it attains level that can capture the attention of the people and later gain credibility by winning trust of the consumers. My brand is also a compelling one, when the sellers have made all the necessary information concerning the products. The resulting factor will be of higher quality to the consumers. The brand is considered special because of its attraction to the consumer.
One minimizes purchase anxiety by consistently and closely putting into consideration all the factors that affect purchase decision making. The factors are among market attributes, purchase attributes and buyers’ attributes. Therefore there will be an increase in purchase decision making. Market attributes that affect marketing decision making are availability of competitors who work in the same field with the marketers. Marketers also will pay attention to advertisements which have the power to sell the products hence promoting quality and good image of the company.
Buyer attributes affects decision making by posing effects on purchase motivation and search for value. Market attributes also affect decision making by creating competition in the market, it also affected by the larger economic environment. Purchase attributes affects purchase decision for example, the price affects decision making. This occurs when a consumer who had money but not enough to purchase certain specific item. For him/her to be satisfied he or she has to purchase something else that was not planned. Consumer is the only person who can determine the seller’s existence in the market (Brandon, 2013)
