Even before I enter college, I have engaged myself in various part-time works that I can say further deepen my interest in Marketing. Even at a young age, I contributed to my workplace by selling products with high profits online. Before, I was still uncertain of nature of the work, but as I progressed I learned the in and out of my work and became an asset to the people I worked for. When I was working in my part-time jobs, I felt that Marketing is something that I want to venture to in the future. I see it as an opportunity to sharpen both my interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. In terms of communication skills, I can say that with my experience, I know how to present myself in front of other people. I also know how to pursue other people. I also consider myself as someone who is both resourceful and innovative. In the field of marketing, I know both characteristics are key to being successful.
I am a people-person, I like to talk to and interact with other people. I am not difficult to be with, because I can blend easily with others. Despite some people telling me that I am too old to enter college at my age of 25, I believe that my age is not a hindrance for me to achieve my life-long dream of becoming a marketer. I can say that I made us of my time wisely by getting as much experience as I can get before finally deciding to enter college. I even did military services for two (2) years.
In terms of my strengths, I am a very driven person; I can work well under pressure and can perform tasks at the best of my abilities. I never sacrifice quality for compliance because I always believe that a person you leave your own mark in every work you accomplish. From the various experiences I gained from my part-time works, I can say that I also master the art of time management, as a person I know my priorities and I know what I must to do to achieve them. I see marketing as an outlet for me to showcase my abilities as a person. I accept that it will not be easy, but I am willing and prepared to take on the challenge because it is something that I want to be part of.
This course will change my life in much ways because it will help me build my self-confidence. I can further develop as a person with the guidance of many professionals. I will discover aspects about myself that I have yet to find out and see wider horizon for me to venture in. Marketing will offer me the opportunity to meet different people from various walks on life that will teach me lessons that are valuable in the field of my choice. Even if I decided to enter collage at a late age, I am equally motivated and compassionate as my younger counterparts. I see my part-time works not as a setback to my studies rather as an advantage because it made me see the practical application of the course I want. I am hard working and not a one-trick pony. I know that marketing is the course I want and through my efforts and perseverance I can prove how much I value the education I will receive from your institution.
