I want to acknowledge and at the same time accord my utmost congratulations for your qualification and admission to take the marketing course and finally become an integral constituent in this class. Kudos for the great job and best of luck as you undertake this course. I understand the pathway to this level has never been a smooth ride and at one point each and everyone of you may have fallen, but you have never failed to pick up yourself with a greater momentum than the one you had before falling. That’s what has defined you to this extent so far. The choice to be a part of this class shall never go into waste, neither will any of you regret nor feel like you could have fit best somewhere else but rather feel satisfied and self-contented that you are on the path of prosperity and highly scaling greater heights in developing your human resource for future success.
This class basically encapsulates “Direct Marketing.” This aspect of marketing covers getting directly to an individual target consumer as contrary to deploying the use of mass medium or what is generally termed as “end-to-end direct marketing process.” In a nutshell, what you guys expect to cover in this class is to be undertaken through a comprehensive channel-agnostic kind of advertising which allow various non-profit organizations and different businesses to foster a straight communication with the customers on a platform of advertising techniques which include email, flier, online display advertisement, cell phone text messaging, promotional letters, outdoor advertising, and catalogue distribution.
This class compares to other classes at CSUEB at equally different angles and perspectives. The class has remained to one of the classes with the astute category of lecturers who have been the driving force behind the success completion of the marketing course in this institution. They are intellectually significant and comprise a set of great asset to the institution in shaping and producing the best scholars across the nation in the marketing profession. The class remains in record in upholding high standards of academic integrity and producing professionals with admirable performing standards.
The class will present very useful aspects and direct marketing knowledge in curtailing addressability to target market in which the business or organization perceive to be of potential gain to its business undertakings. You will be equipped will critical techniques in keeping measurable and trackable responses from customers irrespective of the medium deployed.
I want to affirm without fear of doubt that the class will present very interesting topics like couponing, email marketing, telemarketing, insert market, online tools, and broadcast faxing among others which you will never want to miss. The topics provide a coverage of the direct marketing aspects in a more informing manner with class activities that are practical and a fun undertaking. Missing any of them will be a huge disappoint to one’ self –I bet you, you won’t just like the feeling.

The professor is always steadfast in providing relevant reading materials like directing students to specific books which he feels will provide adequate information in the area of interest. He dislikes under-performance and would always do his best to ensure that his students are exemplary at all cost. We may not have loved him all of us, but he conquered a majority of our hearts.
A lot of changes happen time-to-time in this class. Sometimes there is a change of professors and content review. All these have been to the best of the students as the institution embrace change that come with technology and other aspects of education. You will never do the same things the same way every time but be open to change and embrace it to the best of you knowledge for the betterment of your human resource in this class.
A memorable undertaking that will never cease from my mind is the time when we went to a nearby town to undertake practical sales on “Direct Selling.” Our demo products were household detergents. It was a wonderful experience interacting with the community and the love, vigor, and valor that the town people accorded us was incredible. It is a lifetime experience that you will never want to be told but rather be a part of.
I would love to take additional classes form this class’ professor because he articulated his lectures with clarity and grasping something from his class was the easiest I have ever experienced in my learning process. He presents his lesson with the correct sense of humor and one will never get bored in Professor Feires’ class. He will never disappoint.
I will always recommend this class to a friend. This is because it presents an aspect of marketing that a student in this profession will really find to be an integral ingredient in this profession. The professor of this class is one resourceful personality that I would wish marketing students have an equal opportunity to grasp an ice berg of his wealth in information and knowledge and use it a tool to redefining marketing profession at a global arena towards achieving the best and admirable outcomes.
Lastly, I want to say that with this class you are beyond no reasonable doubt in the right place, at the right time with the right professor. Success is right on your way. What you just need is to go for it.
