1. As the goal of the fringe benefits restructuring is not merely to reduce cost but also to consider the fact that this change may have on the quality of staff. Therefore, it is critical to take into account opinions and demands of people, who work in the university. A task force includes staff and faculty from different university departments, therefore it can better represent the interests of university employees.
2. The president already appointed chief administrator of the task force, thus ensuring that hospital management issues will be high on the task force agenda. Furthermore, an inclusion of representatives from accounting and finance departments could also help to emphasize cost reduction as the key priority.

The administrator of the hospital was appointed as the chair of the task force because he/she is most aware of the issues the hospital is facing and can steer the work of the task force in the direction beneficial for the hospital. The administrator should appoint subcommittee chairs in such a way that the appointed people are knowledgeable in the respective area and is trusted and respected by other members.
4. The president is likely to accept the committee report without making modifications. In this way she can communicate that she takes the work of the committee seriously and considers the opinions of the faculty and staff in making decisions.
5. The appointment of the president’s key assistant as a secretary of the task force would allow the president to remain informed about the progress of the project, as well as to indirectly influence the work of the committee and to ensure that the task force considers the university’s financial position when making decisions on the new fringe benefits package.

On the other hand broad task assignment would improve quality of the final product and flexibility of the work processes by giving employees more authority and facilitating accountability for their work (Smith & Zimmerman, 2002).
2. Grouping into a unique wire harness department would ease information exchange among employees and foster learning. The alternative structure of the subgroups reporting to a manager, who is responsible for a specific copier, would enhance product orientation and help to coordinate employee efforts according to the copier-specific requirements.
3. Country form would help to adjust product to the requirements of a specific markets (cultural, political etc.), but would ignore the difference between copiers. Product form would help to develop operations according to the copier model, thus making a distinction in strategy based on copier value, target market and other product specific dimensions. This structure ignore, however, cultural peculiarities of the markets. Finally, matrix organization addresses both country and product-specific customer needs, but the complexity of this organizational form makes it costly and difficult to implement (Daft, Murphy & Willmott, 2010).
