I have been going through the materials you brought back from Europe and I fully agree that they are a reliable source of information in preparation of Puma Sports House’s exercise program report. However as you had pointed out earlier, there is a need to maintain originality when writing this report. I have been thinking about this and have come up with a couple of solutions on how to maintain originality.
One, I will use the materials given as only a guideline of what is expected in the report. This means that our company’s report won’t be a duplicate of the European one. This will also be advantageous in that it will allow me to maintain an open mind and hence get to incorporate trends that are unique in Puma, which may otherwise be lacking in the European market. I also intend to use paraphrasing which will be an effective way of ensuring that I don’t duplicate the report. This technique will ensure that our report is constituted of different wording from the materials you brought me.
On the customers’ feedback, I would highly recommend against using the comments in the materials provided. I will use the comments posted on Puma’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. The fact that the exercise program is relatively new means that there are only a few comments from clients. However, I still intend to use these few comments as it ensures that investors reading the report can have access to this feedback on their own and hence confirm the validity of the report. I would also wish to include in the report two or three comments from our operations department to substitute those from the material. The reason for this is simply that, investors are also influenced by the knowledge that the people making a product or service believe in it too.
I will be waiting for your feedback on the above so that I may proceed with writing the report.
