Audits enable the hospital to identify the performance of all the services it provides including the rate of hospital re-admissions, number of deaths and complaints from patients, an aspect that is vital in helping the organization to enhance its quality objectives. The potential costs and failures of quality health in Memorial Hospital include factors such as underuse or overuse of resources and variations in the use of health care services that culminate into the underachievement of effectiveness and efficiencies.
