Sexual orientation is an aspect that has raised eyebrows among individuals and also the public at large. It has become an imperative phenomenon in the current empirical attention within the victimology literature. The essence of this study is based on the fact that sexual orientation seems to receive increased rates of victimization mostly among the unfortunate in the society. The study has revealed that there is inadequate psychological outcome, mostly, for the lesbians, gay, bisexual and between the transgender crime victims (LGBT). The researcher tries to take a scrutiny concerning victim sexual orientation in a sample of 641 fatal crimes in dire need of immediate medical treatment at a public sector –heath check.

The study process used by the researcher is understandable and very clear. Firstly, the researcher starts by presenting the research questions which provides a direction on the rationale of the study. The research questions provided are well structured and numbered. Secondly, methodology or rather the procedure used in conducting the study follows. In the methodology, participants are identified together with their precise medical history concerning the crimes they encountered and the health centers they attended. Such information provides an aspect of reliability in the study. Thirdly, scale of measurement used in determining the type of crimes committed and their impacts on persons is also well presented. In this study, Multivariate Regression evaluation was used as the independent variable on the clinical symptoms, while the participants were used as the dependent variables. This is then followed by the findings/results and lastly the discussion.

The major aspect that was revealed from the result is that the lesbians, gay, bisexual and the transgender (LGBT) are most probably to fall the victims of sexual assault. Together with that, the heterosexuals have a high probability of falling victims of common assault and killing. The transgender victims are mostly affected by severe stress and common anxiety. The study also revealed that, victims sexual orientation restrained the connection of type of crime committed with experience of terror sign. Together with that, it was also noted that, the victim sexual orientation was capable of moderating the connection between patient’s trauma history and the common anxiety indications

In a nut shell, the study reveals that sexual orientation is a vital aspect that has brought harmony in the society, mostly among individuals that has fallen victims of diverse crimes. Through sexual orientation, most people have felt at ease after getting a solution to some of the psychological problems that have disturbed them in the whole of their lives. Some of the problems are genetic, but most people had taken them personally thus getting traumatized by them. Others have occurred through crimes committed living a lifetime mark. Through sexual orientation, crimes have been classified, and solution arrived for every crime committed

This is a topic that is overlooked by most scholars, yet it is one of the major problems affecting the society at large. The researched is unbiased while discussion on the types of crimes. I like the way the researcher positively connects each issue with victim sexual orientation.
