Introduction
During the research of men who pay child support, I will use 30 men with the age of 25 to 30 years, to come up with general statistics. The reason for writing this methodology is to get actual statistics regarding men who pay child support. After selecting the men, here are the methods I will use to extract information from the 30 chosen men, which include the use of questionnaires and face to face interviews.
Use of Questionnaires
This method will save much time and resources. I awill provide papers and pencils to the selected men, so that they may right down information concerning the payment of child support. I will provide the 30 men with questionnaires and hence, they will be able to respond in the most accurate way possible. The use of questionnaires will facilitate a direct response from the selected men. The Questionnaires will contain both open and closed questions to obtain much information from the men being surveyed. Also, the questionnaires will contain scaled questions.
Face-to-Face Interviews
This method will enable me to obtain information from the chosen 30 men. I will ask questions regarding the child support payment. In conducting the interview, I will use a face-to-face interview with the selected men. This method will enable me to interact effectively with the interviewees (Axinn and Pearce). It will also help me to obtain a quick response from the men being interviewed. This method ensures follow-up questions in case the interviewee responds in an unclear manner. In carrying out face-to-face interviews, I will use tapes to record my conversations with the sampled men.
These methods of collecting data will ensure that useful information is obtained from the 30 men being sampled. The use of questionnaires and conducting interviews with the chosen men entails the use of quality questions, which are easier to answer and respond. In conducting the interview, I will give the interviewees specific time so that I will use the shortest time possible to obtain relevant information.
